Aircall

The call happened. Whether the ticket knows about it is a configuration choice.

Smart Instinct is a helpdesk implementation and AI agent setup agency, and an Aircall Partner. We audit for $500, build from $3,750 and migrate from $3,500. We configure Aircall end to end: numbers and porting, IVR and business hours, routing, and the helpdesk integration that logs every call against a ticket.

Builds from $3,750. Last updated August 1, 2026.

What we configure

Voice is where support operations usually lose their reporting. The call is handled well, the record of it never reaches the helpdesk, and the volume numbers quietly understate what the team actually did.

Porting takes as long as it takes

Two to four weeks in general, and ten to fifteen business days for US and Canada numbers, per Aircall's own porting documentation.

Australia runs up to six weeks after your documentation is validated, and category A and category C numbers move on different timelines. Carriers set all of this, not us. We plan the cutover sequence around the real window so nothing goes dark, and anyone promising you a firm porting date without checking the carrier is guessing.

Best for

  • You run voice alongside email and chat and want one queue picture.
  • You need calls logged against tickets without an agent remembering to do it.
  • You are porting numbers and want the sequence planned properly.
  • You want a fixed price and a documented handoff.
  • Someone internal will own the configuration afterward.

Not a fit if

  • You expect native ticketing inside the phone system. It does not exist here.
  • You need full contact centre workforce management and forecasting.
  • You want carrier contract negotiation rather than configuration.
  • Your budget is under $500, which is the audit floor.

What it costs

Identical on every platform page, because pricing never varies by platform.

Audit $500 flat, credited toward any project booked within 30 days. Retainers from $800 a month. Enterprise from $25,000. Past a tier limit: $1,250 per integration, $2,500 per brand, $3,750 per platform. Rush work is time and a half, always quoted before you approve it.

Questions we get on the call

How long does porting take?

Two to four weeks generally, ten to fifteen business days for US and Canada, and up to six weeks in Australia after documentation is validated. Carriers set the timeline. We plan the cutover around it rather than quoting a date we do not control.

Is Aircall a helpdesk?

No. It is voice. Your tickets still live in a helpdesk, and most of the value of this build is the integration between the two so calls stop being invisible to your reporting.

Can you configure Aircall alongside our existing helpdesk?

That is the normal case. Aircall for voice, your helpdesk as the system of record, and the integration wired so agents see the customer before they answer.

Who owns the configuration when you leave?

You do, documented.
