EVERY SERVICE, EVERY PLATFORM

You know something is wrong. You do not know what to call it.

Smart Instinct is a helpdesk implementation and AI agent setup agency. This page exists because most people arrive knowing the symptom rather than the service. Pick the one that sounds like your week and we will tell you on the call if it is actually the other one.

Four services, twenty-one platforms, one specialty. Every price on this site is published. There is no quote form, because a form that asks for your budget before it tells you ours is not a form, it is a negotiation tactic.

Published prices. A fixed quote off the scoping call. Last updated August 6, 2026.

Start with the symptom

Four services. Most engagements start with the first one, because it is the cheapest way to find out which of the other three you actually need.

$500, one to two weeks

The audit

You suspect the setup is wrong but cannot point at it. One helpdesk, reviewed end to end, ending in a ranked written fix list you own whether or not you hire us. Credited toward any project booked within 30 days.

Implementation and configuration

The instance was set up for an earlier stage of the business and nobody has revisited it since. Routing, SLAs, macros, forms, reporting, and the integrations that put real data in the ticket.

Migrations

You are moving platforms and somebody is quietly panicking about ticket history. Field and tag mapping approved before anything moves, then a reconciliation pass against the source after cutover.

AI agent setup

The AI answers questions and you cannot tell whether it is deflecting or stalling. Grounding, guardrails, escalation design, and containment measured against your own tickets rather than a vendor benchmark.

Or start with the platform

Twenty-one platforms, grouped by the job rather than alphabetically, because nobody shops for a helpdesk alphabetically. The price does not change by platform. Only the work does.

General customer support

The broad-purpose helpdesks. Most teams land here.

Zendesk · Intercom · Help Scout · Front · Gladly · Kustomer

Ecommerce

Order state, refunds and returns in the ticket, so agents stop opening a second tab.

Gorgias · Richpanel · eDesk · Re:amaze

B2B, in-app and mobile

Support that happens where the customer already is, whether that is Slack or inside your own product.

Pylon · Helpshift · Tidio

Employee and internal service

IT and HR queues. Same discipline, different audience, and five platforms we will honestly claim here.

Zendesk · Zoho Desk · HubSpot Service Hub

Internal help desk setup, in full

Voice and contact centre

Numbers, IVR and routing, wired to the helpdesk so calls log against tickets. RingCentral and Talkdesk are not helpdesks and we will say so on their own pages.

Aircall · RingCentral · Talkdesk

Not on the list?

Freshdesk, Helpshift, Talkdesk, HubSpot and most of the rest of the category have crossed our desk at some point across 500+ implementations. Ask on the call. If we have not configured it, we will say so rather than learn on your budget.

Ask about a platform

Two we have just added

ServiceNow

Enterprise service management. IT Service Management for employees, Customer Service Management for customers, and a straight answer about which one you need. The most capable platform we work on and the easiest to over-buy.

ServiceNow implementation

Zoom Contact Center

Voice, video and omnichannel routing for companies already standardised on Zoom. It is a contact centre rather than a helpdesk, so it runs in front of your ticketing system rather than replacing it.

Zoom Contact Center setup

Support does not only mean customers

Roughly half the queues we configure never touch a customer. IT service desks, HR case management, internal request routing, onboarding and offboarding workflows. The platform work is the same shape: intake, routing, SLAs, knowledge, and reporting somebody actually trusts.

The difference is that internal users cannot churn. They just stop filing tickets and start messaging someone directly, and then you lose the data along with the queue. That failure mode is quieter and it costs more to unwind.

Internal help desk setup

Best for, and not a fit

Best for

Teams between roughly ten and two hundred agents whose helpdesk was configured for an earlier version of the business.

Anyone who has half-fixed the same thing three times between actual fires.

Buyers who want the price before the discovery call rather than after it.

Companies where the person who understood the setup has left.

Not a fit

You want a guaranteed deflection percentage written into the contract. We will not quote one before seeing your data.

You need a body to sit in your standups for six months. We ship scoped work and leave.

You want the cheapest possible hourly rate. We are not it, and the audit exists so you can find that out for $500 instead of $12,500.

You want us to build custom software. We configure platforms and integrate them. That is the whole specialty.

Questions we get on this page

I do not know which service I need. Where do I start?

The $500 audit, almost always. It is one to two weeks, covers one helpdesk, and ends in a ranked written fix list. If you then book a project within 30 days, the $500 comes off it. It is the cheapest way to stop guessing.

Does the price change depending on which platform I am on?

No. Builds are $3,750, $7,500 and $12,500 regardless of platform, gated on counted scope rather than agent numbers. What changes by platform is the work, not the invoice.

Do you only do customer support?

No. Roughly half our work is internal: IT service desks, HR case management and employee request routing. For internal queues we will honestly claim Zendesk, Zoho Desk and HubSpot Service Hub.

What if my platform is not listed?

Ask. Across 500+ implementations and 16 years of experience, most of the category has crossed our desk. If we have not configured yours we will tell you rather than learn on your budget.

Can you do the work without disrupting the live queue?

Yes, and it is the normal way we work. Configuration happens in a sandbox or against test records, you approve each setting as we go, and changes land on a schedule you pick rather than on a Friday afternoon.

How fast can you start?

Scoping calls are usually within the week. Build timelines are two to four weeks for Essential, three to five for Professional and four to six for Premium, confirmed at scoping rather than promised here.

Reading about your configuration is slower than showing it to someone.

Bring the tickets that keep coming back. You get a fixed-price quote straight off the scoping call, not a discovery phase and not a proposal cycle.
