Front

Front feels like email. Your reporting needs it to behave like a queue.

Smart Instinct is a helpdesk implementation and AI agent setup agency. We configure Front end to end: shared inboxes, rules, tags, workflows, and the integrations that keep an email-first team measurable.

Builds from $3,750. Last updated August 1, 2026.

What we configure

Front wins because it does not feel like a ticketing system. The cost of that is a tag taxonomy nobody agreed on and reporting that cannot group anything reliably.

Best for

  • Your team lives in email and you want structure without a ticket paradigm.
  • You need reporting that groups by topic reliably.
  • You want rules consolidated rather than patched again.
  • You want a fixed price and a documented handoff.
  • Someone internal will own the configuration afterward.

Not a fit if

  • You need a full ticketing model with SLAs at the object level.
  • You want a guaranteed deflection percentage.
  • You need agent staffing or BPO.
  • Your budget is under $500, which is the audit floor.

What it costs

The same numbers as every other page on this site. Pricing does not vary by platform.

Each tier is a fixed price for the scope limits listed, not for a company of a given size. Past a limit: $1,250 per integration, $2,500 per brand, $3,750 per platform. Agent counts are guidance, not a rule.

Questions we get on the call

Can we get real SLA behaviour out of Front?

Partly. Front can enforce response targets and surface breaches, but it does not model SLAs against a ticket object the way Zendesk does. If contractual SLAs per account are the reason you are buying, we will tell you Front is the wrong tool rather than build you something fragile.

Why does our reporting never group properly?

Almost always the tag taxonomy. Tags accumulate organically, three people invent variations of the same one, and analytics has nothing consistent to group by. Fixing that is usually the highest-value hour of the whole build.

How fast do I get a price?

On the scoping call. A fixed price, not a range.

Who owns the configuration when you leave?

You do, documented. That is the point of the handoff.

Bring your worst tickets.

Thirty minutes, no charge. We will tell you what it costs to fix them, or that it is not worth fixing yet.
